Jeffrey is currently the Executive Vice President for Agricultural Services. From March 1999 to 2007 he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales (OGC Switzerland) and prior to this, he held several positions, from 1987 on, as Executive Manager of SGS Redwood offices (UK) Limited, Assistant Vice President of Redwood (Switzerland), Vice president of Redwood (Switzerland) and Senior Vice President, (OGC Switzerland). In 1985 he was appointed regional manager for SGS control services in the US. Starting at SGS in 1969, Jeffrey had various management positions for his first 5 years with the company. He completed vocational training in chemistry, physics and laboratory studies in 1969 followed by being awarded with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry and Biology (BA) in 1987 to then pursue further specialised petroleum industry training in 1988.
Alim has been Executive Vice President for Oil, Gas & Chemicals as well as Environmental services since 2007. Prior to this he was working in Moscow for SGS Vostok, where he firstly held the position of Managing Director for Russia and then Chief Operating Officer for Eastern Europe and the Middle East from 2004. Before that and in the same year, he was given the duty of Chief Operating Officer of SGS North America. Previously he worked for SGS Canada as Managing Director and Nafta Business Development Manager. Between the years 2001 to 2004 he held several positions for the company including Managing Director of SGS Azerbaijan & the Caspian region, Managing Director of SGS Kazakhstan and General Manager of that same office. In 1999 he went to Georgia where he took on the role of General Manager for the Georgian SGS office, before which he was a Division Manager for Redwood Azerbaijan from 1995. He started with SGS in January of 1993 as a Senior Inspector for Redwood, Azerbaijan. In 1987 Alim received a degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electro-Physics and in March of 1993 he went on to get his Doctorate PhD in Chemistry.
